2nd Annual Unity in the Community happens in Jasper

The second annual Unity in the Community event took place in Jasper at AP Howell/Coke Oven Park on Saturday.

The annual event shows a combined effort by area leaders and participants to promote a unified community. Attendees enjoyed live music, food, merchandise vendors and were able to get information about events and community-focused groups from area Walker County.

A Curry High School graduate, he has called Walker County home since 1999. Winborne served as the Social Media Coordinator at a media company in Jasper for three years before helping found The Community Journal. He is a lover of all things nerdy, tech and geek.
