Bevill State Community College plans to use remaining American Rescue Plan, or Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III), funds to assist students that enroll for the 2022 Fall Semester. Degree-seeking students enrolled in credit classes for Bevill State’s 2022 Fall Semester that are eligible for these funds will be notified after October 31, 2022.
“Bevill State is pleased to be able to again provide this opportunity for students enrolling at Bevill State Community College for the 2022 Fall Semester. The impacts of COVID-19 are still being experienced by many. The College wants to do what it can to prevent students from having to put their education and future on hold due to the pandemic. These funds will give students the resources necessary to start, continue, or return to school. The College looks forward to seeing students on our campuses and online this fall,” stated Bevill State President, Dr. Joel Hagood.
These federal funds are provided by the United States Department of Education to ensure learning continues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds should be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care), or childcare.
