Cynthia Eiland Patton

Cynthia Eiland Patton passed to her eternal home on August 29th, surrounded by her family. 

Cynthia was survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert Patton,  her daughter Melissa Patton Betts (Jay), her son Matt Patton (Megan), and four precious grandchildren- Jon and Carrie Betts and Mya and Hazel Sue Patton.  She was also survived by her brother Phillip Eiland, her sister Annette Reeves, and a host of dear family and friends that she considered family.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents CW (Slim) and Flossie Mae Hill Eiland and her sister Sandra Reeves.  

In lieu of flowers, Cynthia and her family request that donations be made to one of the following organizations:  The Link of Cullman County c/o Melissa Betts 708 9th Street SE Cullman, AL  35055 or www.linkingcullman.org  or Abundant Grace Outreach which Cynthia founded for her own ministry work to her neighbors.  Cynthia recently passed the torch to Jasper native Stacy Jo Cornelius and together they renamed the ministry Safety Harbor Outreach.  Donations to this ministry can be made to Safety Harbor Outreach in c/o Stacy Jo Cornelius 244 Green Road Jasper, Alabama 35503.  

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at The Trace Church Jasper, AL.  The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm, services will begin at 2pm.
