The Rotary Club of Jasper held its 2nd annual cornhole tournament in downtown Jasper to raise money for the Critical Care Transport program at Children’s Hospital.
The tournament took place on 4th between Tallulah Brewing Company and Jasper Bottle & Tap. There were 24 teams in the team competition, which had a $350 prize. There were 18 people registered in individual competition, which had a $150 prize. Several social teams played for $50. Prize money was paid by Honda/Hyundai of Jasper. The club raised nearly $2,000 with the event.
Winning teams will go on to compete at the Boiling ‘N Bragging Cornhole Tournament, which will be Saturday, Aug. 20 at Otey’s Tavern in Mountain Brook.
