Dr. Joel Hagood, President of Bevill State Community College, was proud to present Dr. Charlotte Speer with a certificate of recognition from Sigma Kappa Delta, the English Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges.
The Sigma Kappa Delta Board of Directors recognizes outstanding chapters with the designation of Ivy Chapter. Bevill State faculty member Speer has been recognized for her outstanding job promoting the society and its mission on the Jasper campus.
Sigma Kappa Delta has now grown to 149 chapters nationwide, and the Phi Alpha Chapter continues to be a leader. The Sigma Kappa Delta Board of Directors stated, “We applaud her dedication and steadfastness in keeping Phi Alpha Chapter active and thriving last school year. Her commitment to Bevill State Community College as well as to Sigma Kappa Delta is commendable, and she deserves the recognition and gratitude.”
