Helen Marie (Faye) Robinson Holmes, 89, of Cordova, formerly of Palmerdale passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Cordova Health and Rehabilitation.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, Jasper, Alabama. Graveside service to follow at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 7500 Roper Road, Trussville; Alabama 35173 at 11:00 AM.
Faye was preceded in death by husband, Alva L. Holmes; daughter, Belinda K. Holmes Rogers; stepdaughters: Cherry Belle Holmes, Janet Holmes Todd, Thelma “Chee Chee” Holmes Kennedy, and Alvena Holmes Clayton; father, Filder Robinson; mother, O’belle Webb Robinson, brothers: Dan Robinson, Tommy D. Robinson, John David Robinson; sisters: Edna Mae Robinson Hitchcock, Anna Sue Robinson Jones, and Fannie Bell Robinson Bowen.
She is survived by daughter, Dana Holmes Odom; stepdaughter, Juanita Holmes Poulos (Ted); grandchildren: Josie Millican (Adrian), Stormie Bagwell, and Mahlon Odom (Gabby); great-grandchildren: Carlie Marie Millican Baird (Tanner), Peyton Millican (Joshua), Brecken Bagwell, Kameron Bagwell, and Lucas Wayne Odom; great-great grandchildren: Cope Moore and Amelia Marie Baird; and one brother, James “Lee” Robinson (Daphne).
Faye is also survived by many beautiful step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren, as well as preceded in death by one step grandchild, and one step great-grandchild. She also has a host of loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the earthly angels at Cordova Health and Rehabilitation for the love and kindness extended to our Mom and “Maw Maw”, with a special “thank you” to Meagan, Abby and Ardie.
