A Walker County man has been charged with intentional murder stemming from a shooting over the weekend.
Jamie Vines appeared in district court Monday morning and was given a $250,000 cash bond. He is currently in the Walker County Jail.
Vines was charged with intentional murder after reportedly shooting his stepfather Saturday morning at a residence on Fall City Road just outside of Jasper. The victim was identified as Roger Wolfe.
The men got into a heated exchange, which then escalated into the shooting, Walker County Sheriff’s Office officials said.
