PARRISH – A vehicle crashed into Gross Pharmacy in Parrish early Saturday morning, leaving one person dead and causing major damage to the building.
Parrish officials said officers were dispatched around 4:20 a.m. to a wreck with injuries on Main Drive and Highway 269. A male passenger in the Kia Sorento that damaged the pharmacy was transported to a local hospital and died of his injuries. His name has not been released.
The driver of the vehicle, a female,fled the scene by the time officers arrived. The Parrish Police Department is still searching for the driver.
