PARRISH – A Parrish woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries in connection to the recent fatal crash where a vehicle drove into Gross Pharmacy.
Felece Michale Thomas, 32, was arrested by Parrish police at her residence and was transported to the Walker County Jail where she is still being held.
Parrish officials said officers were dispatched around 4:20 a.m. on Sept. 3 to a wreck with injuries on Main Drive and Highway 269. A male passenger in the Kia Sorento that damaged the pharmacy was transported to a local hospital and died of his injuries. His name has not been released.
Thomas, the driver of the vehicle, fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
