A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, Oct.9, at Grace Baptist Church in Sumiton.
Proceeded in death by his son, Steven Morrow; parents, William H. Morrow Sr. and Helen Morrow; sister, Debbie Parker; nephew, Joseph Parker; brother in law, Earl Parker; mother- and father-in-law O.L. and Lessie Kilgo.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresia Morrow; his daughter, Andrea (James) Phillips, daughter in law, Lauren Morrow; brother, David Morrow (Janice); sister in law Jan Parker; brother in law, Buddy Kilgo (April); grandchildren, Stone, Breeze, Daisy, Joy and Zuzu Phillips and Addox Morrow; nieces, Amy(Philip)Stancil, Tina Parker, Jeri(Patrick) Mercier, and Addie Kilgo; nephews, Daniel (Kristina) Morrow, Justin Morrow, and Jack Kilgo, great neices, Kaitlin (Shawn) Tankersly and Eden Stancil; great nephews Logan Stancil, Charlie, Andrew and Parker Mercier. Many close friends. His beloved doggies: Molly and Marley.
Born in Pleasant Grove. Played Football, Basketball and Baseball. Graduated from Hueytown HighSchool in 1969. Attended Pleasant Grove First Baptist, Sayre Baptist, Sumiton First Baptist, Dora First Baptist and Gardendale First Baptist. Accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 25, Leader of RA’s, a Promise Keeper, and choir member. Worked for The City of Pleasant Grove for 30 years, Regions Bank and the Daily Mountain Eagle. Loved Alabama Football, sausage balls, cheese, cookies, pizza, music and art.
