A block party scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 27, will raise funds for the Walker County Arts Alliance.
The second annual Downtown Jasper Fall Block Party will kick off at 6 p.m., taking place on 19th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue.
Tickets are $30 each for adults and $10 each for children. Tickets will be available to purchase at the event or are available on Eventbrite at Downtown Jasper Fall Block Party Tickets, Thu, Oct 27, 2022 at 6:00 PM | Eventbrite.
Activities include live music by Backdraft, an art exhibit by Sarah O’Mary Roberts, a community art project and kids’ activities.
Food will be from Special Occasions and Matt’s Smoked Meats, one free Tallulah beer, wine, or soft drink with ticket purchase.

“The downtown businesses really pulled this together last year as a fundraiser for us,” WCAA executive director Kate Gurganus said. “The block party was a lot of fun last year. It was a great atmosphere. We had around 200 people and are hoping for even more this year.”
