Kaden Leith is this month’s Walker County Center of Technology (WCCT) Rising Star.
Leith is a senior at Carbon Hill High School enrolled in the Collision Repair program at WCCT taught by Anthony Myrick.
“WCCT is a place to come learn valuable skills in the programs that are taught here,” Leith said. “It is also a place to learn life skills such as meeting new people and working alongside them.”
Kaden, the son of Landon and Kira Leith, has already recieved certifications in Valvoline and automotive lift safety. He plans to one day be a crane operator, using the skills he is now learning in collision repair such as being precise in measurements and details.
The Walker County Center of Technology and The Community Journal have partnered to present a new Rising Star each month as part of the Journal’s #CommunityFirst Initiative.
