Cordova’s Howell named TCJ Outstanding Student of the Week

Kaleb Howell, a junior at Cordova High School, is The Community Journal’s Outstanding Student of the Week.

Howell is the schools’s Future Farmers of America President. He recently competed at the North District FFA Land Judging competition where he led the team to a Top 4 finish to secure a trip to the state contest in February.

Howell scored 231 out of 240, which was the highest individual score in the North District.

“Kaleb is a fine young man with a bright future ahead of him,” Cordova FFA sponsor Jared Aaron said.

Howell is also a key member of the CHS Robotics Team, sponsored by Amber Parsons.

“Kaleb is a leader on his high school VRC robotics team but also serves as a mentor to all of our younger teams,” Parsons said.

Howell plans to pursue a degree in history from the University of North Alabama and then attend Cumberland School of Law.
