Bevill State Community College is hosting Women at Work: A Women’s History Month Celebration on Wednesday, March 8 from noon to 1 p.m. on its Sumiton campus in the Building 1200 Courtyard. (The event will move to the Library in case of inclement weather.)
Celebrate Women’s History Month and browse an array of women-led local businesses, organizations, and initiatives in our area. Author and businesswoman Edie Hand will be present to sign books. The first 50 students to attend will receive a free copy of her new book, “Women of True Grit,” sponsored by Mayor Petey Ellis and Booked on Main Bookstore.
