The Jasper Herb Society recently teamed up with the Carl Elliott Regional Library in downtown Jasper, starting a seed library at the facility.
The seed gallery allows library patrons to select and take home for free a variety of seeds, including herb, vegetable and flower seeds.
Members of the herb society also encourage local gardeners to donate seeds for the library. Those who would like to donate seeds may call 205-387-1557.
The Jasper Herb Society meets every second Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Jasper in downtown along 4th Avenue.
