Bloomin’ Festival this weekend

CULLMAN – The 39th Annual Bloomin’ Festival Arts and Craft Fair is this Saturday and Sunday, April 22-23, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day on the campus of St. Bernard Abbey and Preparatory School. The festival is the school’s largest annual fundraiser.

The Bloomin’ Festival is a two-day juried arts festival that typically attracts thousands of visitors to the community. Over 150 booths will be filled with artisans exhibiting their handcrafted work, with crafts ranging from wood working, baked goods, textile arts, smithing and sublimated items.

Guests can also enjoy live music and plenty of food, including the famous Monks Bread.

A raffle will take place Sunday, April 23, at 4 p.m. Prizes include: first prize- a 2023 Jeep Renegade, second prize- an Apple iPad, third prize- Apple AirPods, fourth prize- a Fitbit Versa 2 Smartwatch and fifth prize- a Midland weather radio.

Admission to the Bloomin’ Festival is $10, and children 5 and younger get in free. Special admission rates will be offered to festival attendees all weekend at the Ave Maria Grotto.
