We are excited to announce that the Walker County Center of Technology’s Rising Star for the month of January is Scarlett Romine. Scarlett is a junior from Cordova High School and is currently in the Drafting & Design program taught by Robin Tidwell. She is the daughter of Jamie Romine & Becky Romine.
Scarlett plans to get a degree in Drafting, but is also interested in a career in health care. Some of the things she likes to do are drawing, painting, and helping others. Scarlett’s love of drafting and helping others is evident when she is called upon to help lead in her drafting class and help with 8th grade tours within the Drafting Department.
Scarlett’s goal is to be the best person she can be each day.
From Scarlett: “No matter what type of day you’re having, there is always someone who will help make it better. There are amazing teachers, students, and all of the staff who care and support you here at WCCT! It’s a great way to figure out your interests and a way to get a few steps ahead in your career.”
