An Empire man has been charged with murder in connection with a shooting that took place in Cullman during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Christopher Dean Eugene Brown, 20, of Empire, has been arrested and charged with murder, for the shooting death of 23 year old, Roberto Juarez Ramos of Blountsville.
The shooting took place in a parking deck in Cullman around 2:40 a.m. Sunday. Responding officers found Ramos dead there.
“The Cullman Police Department would like to thank Walker County Sheriff’s Office for locating and apprehending Brown and also Sumiton PD for their assistance,” Cullman police said in a Facebook post. “We would also like to thank the Cullman County District Attorney, Champ Crocker and Cullman County Circuit Clerk, Lisa McSwain for assisting us in securing a warrant so quickly. Great Job by Cullman Police Department Patrol Division and Investigation Division for all of their work in this case.”
