Narcotics Investigator Jim Browne obtained a felony warrant from the recent carfentanil seizure.
The subject was arrested last week and Browne followed up with a search warrant of his residence on Arrowhead Lane off of Fall City Road.
Donald Ricky Smith, 65, of Jasper, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Smith already had warrants for his arrest for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Appear on a different Drug Paraphernalia case, and two Failure to Appears in Traffic Court.
Smith remains in jail on a high cash bond due to the danger to the community of carfentanil and failing to appear in court.
