Dora PD arrests McDonald’s employee at work with fentanyl in his pants

Dora Police Department received intel that a McDonald’s employee had been selling narcotics at the restaurant.

After further investigation, Dora Police Chief Jared Hall and Officer Smalley identified a suspect. The suspect was wanted for multiple probation revocations.

Hall and Smalley observed the suspect on break with a backpack in the parking lot on Friday.

The suspect was arrested with over two grams of fentanyl inside his pants. Other controlled substance and paraphernalia were also seized. One gram is considered trafficking in Alabama. The two grams equals 2,000 mgs with about 2 mgs being a lethal dose

The name of the suspect is being held until formal charges are completed.

The Dora Police Department also released Friday that it and the Dora Fire Department had administered six doses of Narcan that day to reverse overdoses.
