The last two weeks have been busy for your Narcotics Division at the Walker County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators executed search warrants, worked drug complaints, and served outstanding warrants with the assistance of the Patrol Division.
A drug search warrant was served at a residence on First Avenue off of Sipsey Road.
Kristina Ann Morrell Anderson, 52, of Sipsey, was arrested for Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
Investigators also worked on drug complaints in the Thach community. Five people were arrested on outstanding warrants. Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was seized.
While working the Thach community deputies found an unresponsive female in the back seat of a vehicle. Deputy Carson Legg administered Narcan to the female to reverse the suspected opioid overdose. The female was transported by Regional Paramedical Services.
Six arrested on contraband charges
Narcotics Investigator Jim Browne conducted a lengthy investigation of drugs being smuggled into the county jail.
Lisa M. Tolbert, 47, of Jasper, arrested for 3 counts of Conspiracy to Commit and Controlled Substance Crime, and 3 counts of Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd.
Samantha Ann Faucett, 29, of Carbon Hill, arrested for 2 counts of Conspiracy to Commit and Controlled Substance Crime, and 2 counts of Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd.
Austin Kane Tidwell, 24, of Jasper, arrested for 3 counts of Conspiracy to Commit and Controlled Substance Crime, and 3 counts of Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd.
Kristopher Keith Secrest, 26, of Carbon Hill, arrested for Conspiracy to Commit and Controlled Substance Crime and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd.
Brandon David Whitt, 34, of Boldo, arrested for Conspiracy to Commit and Controlled Substance Crime and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd.
Brandy L. Russell, 48, of Carbon Hill, arrested for Conspiracy to Commit and Controlled Substance Crime and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd.
