Jasper City Schools Superintendent Ann Jackson said schools in their district had a smooth start to the 2023-24 school year.
“We have had a smooth start at every school,” she said. “Our kids came in ready to go, our teachers were prepared and started teaching the first day.”
Jackson recognized faculty and staff for the good start in week one.
It has been very productive week,” she said. “A lot of planning and preparation on our teachers and administrators went in to having a smooth, organized opening.”
