“Always … Patsy Cline” tells the true story of the friendship between the legendary country singer Patsy Cline, played by Lorin O’Rear, and a devoted fan. This inspirational show is told through the letters of star-struck fan Louise Seger, portrayed by Libby Allred. This popular musical, which has enjoyed great success both off-Broadway and across the nation, is based on the true story of Cline’s friendship with Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961 and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. Featuring the unforgettable hits of the Country Music mega-star, this funny and touching tribute celebrates the career and life of the singer who died tragically in a plane crash in 1963.

Sponsors for the production include Bevill State Community College, Bivona Chiropractic, Bivona Family Dental, Elle Luxe, Pinnacle Bank, and Young Jewelers. If you are interested in sponsoring this or future Walker County Arts Alliance events, please contact Kate Gurganus, WCAA Executive Director, at [email protected] or 205.221.1711.
