Schools across Walker County will hold their graduation ceremonies across several days this week.
Unlike in years past, Walker County Schools will hold their graduation events on different evenings with organizers saying that change was put into place to allow families to attend more than one commencement ceremony if needed.
Jasper High School and Sumiton Christian School will each hold graduation on Thursday evening.
The graduation schedule for schools in Walker County is:
Tuesday, May 21:
- Carbon Hill High School at Bulldog Stadium at 7 p.m.
- Oakman High School at H.D. Collins Field at 7 p.m.
Thursday, May 23:
- Cordova High School at Hudson-Kerby Field at 7 p.m.
- Sumiton Christian School at Sumiton Church of God at 7 p.m.
- Jasper High School at Kiro-Gambrell Field at 8 p.m.
Friday, May 24:
- Curry High School at Travis Hudson Stadium at 7 p.m.
- Dora High School at Horace Roberts Field at 7:30 p.m.
