The third annual Walker County Cattleman’s Rodeo kicked off Friday night.
The event is being held at the Walker County Fairgrounds off Airport Road in Jasper. It will continue tonight (Saturday, June 15) with gates opening at 6 p.m. and the rodeo starting at 7:30.
There are food vendors on site. Admission is $15 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 6-12 and free for ages 6 and under. Tickets are cash only.
The rodeo is presented by the Walker County Farmers Federation and sponsored by Phillips Farm Black Angus.
