The 2024 Wal-Win Football Media Day, organized by WJLX 101.5-FM is set for Thursday at the Los Reyes in Jasper.
The event will feature coaches and players from across Walker and Winston counties as a way to preview the upcoming high school football season.
“This is one of my favorite events of the year because it marks the unofficial start of the high school football season,” said Brett Elmore, owner and general manager of WJLX. “It’s a day where our local coaches and players coming together, and we are able to showcase them like no other market. I want to thank Los Reyes for hosting, and, we can’t wait to talk football.”
Elmore said media members from across the area are expected to be on hand to interact with the coaches and players. Fans are also invited to come out for Media Day.
The event will be broadcast live on WJLX 101.5 FM as well as on the radio station’s Facebook, YouTube and X (Twitter) pages. It will also be broadcast live statewide on WOTM Spectrum Cable 21.
