The tradition continued in Nauvoo on Saturday with the town’s annual car show, this year featuring more than 100 vehicles. The show was the brainchild of the late Gene McDaniel of Nauvoo, who was also the longtime owner of the Old Harbin Hotel in the center of town. The McDaniel family also opened up the top floor of the hotel, which is 100 years old this year for visitors during the car show.
