“I am proud of the kids. There is lots of work left to be done, and we have to continue to get better, but that’s about as well as we’ve played so far this year in all 3 phases,” Jasper coach Philip Bailey said. “I am extremely pleased with the performance our defense turned in. There’s a lot still out there for this team.”
The Jasper defense forced six turnovers on the night, five fumbles and one interception. The Dragons were held to just over 100 yards of total offense.
