The Fore the Children golf tournament was recently held to raise funds for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Walker County.
Finishing in first place were the City of Dora: Randy Spears, Norman Holt, Darrell “Hawk” Spears and Talmadge Hendrix.
Second place was a Woodman Life team: Phillip Robertson, Jim Keeton, Joey Vick and Rusty Shackleford.
The third place team was Bill Adair, Malcolm Johnson, Rene Williams and Lonnie O’Rear.
All three teams graciously decided to donate their winnings back to the center.
