Gabby’s Restaurant, which was a staple for homestyle cooking in Jasper for more than 50 years, has closed. A new restaurant will be opening in the same location soon.
The restaurant closed with the retirement of its longtime owner Linda Gomes.
Taking Gabby’s place at the location will be Tony’s Home Cooking. New owners are currently renovating the restaurant with a sign on the door saying the news business will open Jan. 10.
