Riding the Rails exhibit opens at Bankhead House

The Bankhead House and Heritage Center held a opening reception on Tuesday afternoon for its latest exhibit, “Riding the Rails.”

The exhibit features local memorabilia that tells the story of the influence and history of the railroad industry in Walker County. The exhibit will run from Feb. 21 to April 21.

The Bankhead House is located at 800 7th Street West in Jasper. For more information, visit the Bankhead House and Heritage Center Facebook page or call 205-265-2023. Hours for the facility are typically 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
