Two people have been arrested on drug charges after the Walker County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) conducted separate drug investigations.
Justin Maurice Woods, 34, of Jasper, was arrested and charged for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance after the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division obtained a search warrant on Frank Evans Road in Jasper.
Investigators seized approximately 2.8 grams of fentanyl during the search of the residence.
Woods also had other active warrants with WCSO, including:
- Alias warrant reckless endangerment
- Fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer
- Unlawful possession of a controlled substance tampering with physical evidence
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Resisting arrest
- Second-degree property of theft
- Third-degree burglary
- Two counts of first-degree theft of property
A second search warrant was executed on Black Forest Lane in Sipsey resulting in one arrest.
Tammy Renae Lollar Swain, 62, of Sipsey, has been charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
After investigating the sale of methamphetamine from the residence, investigators seized digital scales and other paraphernalia.
