Officers from Jasper’s Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of Parrish Street in Jasper on Wednesday night after an investigation developed evidence of narcotics distribution from the residence.

At the residence, officers recovered acid/LSD strips, mushrooms, more than 7 lbs of marijuana, bags of edibles, jars of THC wax and THC cartridges. They also recovered 4 guns.

Jon Robert Marshall, 30, Crystal Leeann Marshall, 32, and Taylor Daniel Abernathy, 31, were each charged with drug trafficking, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jon Marshall also has 2 counts of unlawful distribution of controlled substance and Taylor has 1 count of unlawful distribution of controlled substance. Both men have bonds set at $50,000 for the trafficking charges and $30,000 cash on the distribution charges. Crystal Marshall’s bond was set at $25,000 property.

Police Chief J.C. Poe said he was proud of the work his officers did in putting this case together and he appreciates the help of the Walker County District Attorney’s Office in securing these warrants.
