Deputy Brandon Pugh, Deputy Matt Handley and Sgt. Steve Legg responded to a burglary in progress call near Argo.
A caller advised deputies that they had cameras installed that shown a subject looking through the belongings of their recently deceased family member’s home.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found a subject inside the residence. He was taken into custody without incident due to the fast response by our deputies.
Jason ONeal Jordan, age 47 of Cordova, was arrested at the scene for Burglary 3rd, and Illegal Possession of Prescription Medication.
“This makes the fifth burglary in progress, this year, thwarted by the quick response of our deputies,” Sheriff Nick Smith said.
