The throwback vibe recently got a little stronger inside The Cigar Box in downtown Jasper with the installation of an “old school” shoe shine chair.
The chair was recently purchased by Cigar Box owner Shawn Doss in New Orleans. Doss announced via social media the business We now has a shoe shiner coming in on Mondays. Joey Smithson will be shining shoes each Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
If clients cannot stay for their shoe shine, Smithson is also accepting drop offs.
