The collision occurred around 11:44 p.m., according to authorities. Investigators said a 2018 Nissan Armada struck a 2005 Ford Thunderbird multiple times as both vehicles came through the intersection. The Thunderbird then went through a guardrail, left the right side of the road and hit a residence.
Crash Details
Authorities said the impact sequence left the Thunderbird badly damaged and sent it off the roadway. A female passenger in the Thunderbird died at the scene. The driver of the Thunderbird was hurt in the crash and was taken from the scene with injuries, though officials did not provide further details on the extent of those injuries. Police said the driver of the Armada remained at the scene after the collision.
