Sumiton Rescue 16 was wrecked early Monday morning when it was hit by an 18-wheeler and flipped on its side at the intersection of Highway 78 and Bryan Road.
Officials with Sumiton Fire and Rescue said two firemen inside the vehicle were transported to UAB.
