Deputies Nathan Morrison and Kalyb Abbott stopped a vehicle Monday night on Highway 5 for a traffic violation.
Amongst the multiple occupants, deputies found approximately 20 grams of Methamphetamine and two grams of Fentanyl.
One arrest was made.
Ashley Nicole Driver, 34, of Nauvoo, was arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
“As Fentanyl continues to be deadly to our communities we appreciate the proactive effort of our deputies to get these substances off of the streets,” Sheriff Nick Smith said.
